Christian Initiation (FaithFirst program)

With the dissociation of our school system from the teaching of Faith to our children, our parish has implemented the award winning program “FaithFirst“. We offer the preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.

The sessions begin the third Sunday of September and, with an average of thirty classes per year, end with First Communion on the last Sunday of May. The classes are one hour long, starting before Mass.

The catechism program is quite unique here, so we have been attracting English, French, Portuguese and Spanish speaking families, not just from Otterburn Park, and the immediate area.
